Business Gateway, in partnership with Scottish Enterprise, South of Scotland Enterprise, Highlands and Islands Enterprise and Skills Development Scotland, is hosting Scottish Business Week from the 18th – 22nd October. This event is a virtual festival for Scottish businesses of all sizes and across all sectors - offering inspiration, advice and guidance to them as they prepare to build a brighter future.

Keynote speakers include Dr Samuel Mwaura, Lecturer and National Co-Lead – Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (Scotland), Hunter Centre for Entrepreneurship, University of Strathclyde; Dr Martin Valenti, Director of Net Zero, SOSE and Councillor Steven Heddle, COSLA Spokesperson for Environment & Economy and Chair of the Business Gateway Board.

There will also be panel webinars on sustainability, women in business, digital transformation and starting-up in business; together with webinars & masterclasses on a variety of topics from selling online to identifying gaps in your business strategy.

Your data will be used for the purpose of the delivery of this event.  Our event management company, Speakeasy Productions will be using the data for the virtual event platform.  

 

Within the portal, all delegates will appear within the Meeting Hub.  Any delegate can request to connect with you and should you accept their request then they will be able to contact you directly and arrange a meeting or live chat for example within the portal.

 

Exhibitors will be able to connect with you in the same way.  If you visit their stand then they will be able to see that you have visited and may wish to connect with you directly within the meeting hub and we encourage engagement with your fellow participants and exhibitors to enhance your experience within the virtual event.

 

Your data will also be shared with Business Gateway who are hosting this event.  Business Gateway may send you emails about business news and appropriate events. (You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.) To find out how Business Gateway use your data please visit their privacy policy.
