SNUG Conference and AGM 2024

We invite you to join us for the 9th Annual SNUG Conference and AGM 2024, to be held in the Westerwood Hotel, Cumbernauld on Wednesday 27 November 2024. We hope you find the Agenda to be of interest, an email will be sent to all delegates registered by October with details on how to submit your questions for the panel session.

 

We have kept the attendance for delegates at the lowest cost we can to ensure as many as possible can attend, hotel costs have risen again this year but Training and support is essential to GP Practices and we will continue to make attending as affordable as possible. If you are a speaker or exhibitor please ensure you select this option when registering.

Whether you are an administrator, practitioner, or IT professional, this workshop will provide you with the knowledge to understand how FootFall can benefit your patients and staff.

What does Population Health Management mean to me as a GP? How can we deliver it and how will it help my practice? We’ll explore these questions and offer methodologies that can be used to design and implement a Population Health Management service and how this can be supported with the digital tools available to your practice today.

Creating clinical guidance that is easily referenced and accessible in the middle of a busy day in General Practice is difficult - many solutions do not provide information that can be truly easily accessed. Grampian Guidance is available to all users in NHS Scotland and aims to break down he barriers to finding information quickly, easily and effciently. We will discuss our approach to guidance creation, how it is presented using SharePoint, and will touch on the deficiencies of other systems that are available and discuss why the Right Decision Service may not be the solution to our problems in NHS Scotland.

MedLink will invite patients for their chronic disease reviews. We analyse the medical record and recall the conditions and medications you choose. Your patients will be invited via email, SMS or voice call at no additional cost to you. Your patients will be offered a personalised online questionnaire depending on their conditions and medications. This allows for potential remote review and release of clinical capacity. Vision integration allows us to automate multiple manual tasks for you and navigate the complexity of multimorbidity. 

 

Staff Safety In Clinical Environment - 3 tips on how to prepare your practice for a safety incident based on insight from Little Green Button and our data from over 150,000 alerts last year alone.

An overview of the work of the GP In-Hours activity project looking into patient encounter data from clinical systems. The workshop will walkthrough the national data available and the local dashboard for practices to scrutinise their own data. The project team are keen to raise awareness of the dashboards for any potential users not yet utilising the tool, and to highlight upcoming plans for development in line with user feedback received.

Your conference booking is not guaranteed until payment in full is received by the Organisers. Payment must be received before the 31st October. Delegates may cancel their attendance to the conference before Thursday 31st October 2024 by advising the Organisers by email to events@speak.co.uk. After Thursday 31st October 2024 will not be refunded. The Organisers accept no liability for loss or damage as result of cancellation or postponement of the event. The Organisers assume no liability whatsoever in the event the conference is cancelled, rescheduled or postponed due to a fortuitous event, Act of God, unforeseen occurrence or any other event that renders performance of the dinner impracticable, illegal or impossible. For the purposes of this clause, a fortuitous event shall include, but not be limited to, war, fire, labour strike, extreme weather, pandemic or other emergency. All unpaid invoices remain due if the event is cancelled for any reason. Registration fees may be paid by credit card or invoice. The Organisers reserve the right to invoice for any costs incurred to process bank transfer payments or from international payments.
